Scheduled to open in fall 2016, Renaissance Village Murrieta will be the newest addition to a growing portfolio of assisted living and memory care communities owned by Continental East Development (CED) and operated by CED subsidiary, Renaissance Villages, Inc.

The 225-bed community in Murrieta, Calif., will be located adjacent to The Colony, an active adult golf course retirement community of 1,500 homes, and feature high-end amenities including a movie theater, full-service salon and spa, bistros, and cafes.

Additionally, Renaissance Village Murrieta will include a 2,500-square-foot Rehab Center and an off-leash dog park, all with the aim to maximize quality of life for residents of the community.

The site was previously entitled to develop 210 market rate senior apartments and in November 2012, CED obtained approval from the City of Murrieta Planning Commission for the development of a planned 225-bed assisted living and memory care community.

The multiphase development will include 87 assisted living and 11 memory care apartments (opening fall 2016); 11 enhanced assisted living and 22 memory care apartments (opening summer 2017); and 50 independent living apartments (opening summer 2018).

The Rehab Center will be available to proactively work with residents to maintain and improve current functionality and allow for quicker transitions back to Renaissance Village if a resident injures themselves and requires hospitalization.

The off-leash dog park provides a great opportunity for interaction with community pets and therapy animals.
