Quadrum Global and DeAngelis Diamond (Naples, Fla.) has started construction on a new 488,265-square-foot senior housing community in Southwest Florida, reports MultiHousing News.
 
The $95 million project, named Avida, is on a 32-acre site acquired by Quadrum in July 2015. It's expected to be completed in fall 2018 and will offer 125 assisted living apartments, 35 memory care apartments, and 272 independent living apartments, as well as 28 cottage-style residences.
 
Avida will feature a vareity of amenities such as a bar, private theater, media room, dining hall, swimming pool and spa, four open-air courtyards, and a surface parking garage with 590 spaces.
 
The project team includes Studio+ (architect); Banks Engineering, Waldrop Engineering, Select Structural, and JALRW Engineering Group (engineers); StudioSIX5 (interior designer); and Henderson Franklin (law firm). Quadrum Senior Living Management will manage the community’s construction and operations.
