Viamonte, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), is slated for development in Walnut Creek, Calif., through a joint venture between Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services (NCPHS) and Episcopal Senior Communities (ESC).

Viamonte will include 173 units with a contemporary, urban aesthetic inside the 1, 2, and 2-plus-den bedrooms. The community will sit on a 3.8 acre site within The Orchards development in Walnut Creek, which will include shopping, dining, hiking, and outdoor community areas.

HKIT Architects (Oakland, Calif.) is the design firm on the project. Builder Cahill Contractors (San Francisco) is slated to break ground on Viamonte in early 2017.
