Construction work is now complete on Symphony at the Waterways, a $21 million luxury assisted living and memory care community  in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 
 
The 105,000-square-foot community is located on 1.3 acres of land on the Intracoastal Waterway and features 84 assisted living apartments and 20 memory care apartments. 
 
Symphony at the Waterways features common areas with outdoor lounge spaces, rooftop patios, and a courtyard/pier. Assisted living and memory care residents will also benefit from a secure memory care terrace. 
 
Amenities also include an elegant dining room, bistro for cocktail dining, library, fitness center, 8th-floor sky dining lounge, salon and spa, and a theater with raised auditorium seating.
 
Developed by CCH-GD Fort Lauderdale Realty, the eight-story residence, designed by Donahue Architecture and Design, began construction in March 2015. The Douglas Co. provided project management from design through construction.
