Faith Presbyterian Hospice recently celebrated the opening of the $43 million T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Dallas. The 53,388-square-foot standalone inpatient and residential hospice center includes 36 patient rooms with lake views.

Additionally, the center offers transitional services so that patients with chronic diseases can be stabilized before returning home from the hospital. There are private suites with bed-accessible patios or balconies.

The center features many amenities for patients as well as the family with Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, living rooms, spaces designed for reflection, a chapel, and playrooms for young children and teens. Other services include massage and music therapy, patient and family education, as well as bereavement support for children and family members.

Project team members included PRDG (architect); Linbeck (construction firm); Faulkner Design Group (interior architect and designer); and Mesa (landscape architect, planner, and urban designer).
