Environments for Aging
‘s 9th annual Remodel/Renovation Competition is currently underway.

A panel of judges from industry partner SAGE (The Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments) reviewed submissions and narrowed them down to the top 10, available for voting to determine the Best in Competition winner.

The competition category focused on single spaces, including dining spaces, lounges/activity areas, lobbies, and other resident spaces.

Vote on the top 10 designs at http://www.efamagazine.com/events/remodel-renovation/ through Aug. 2. The top 10 finalists are:
Rosemont Presbyterian Village – Dining Room
The Preserve at Granite Farms – Club Room
The Forest at Duke – Dining Area
Edenwald – Cafe
Milwaukee Catholic Home – Lobby
Asbury Solomon’s Island – Café & Grill/Pub
Renaissance – Café
The Residences at Thomas Circle – Entry/Lobby/Hospitality Space
The Forest at Duke – Club Room
Renaissance – Memory Care Center


The top 10 projects, including the winner of Best in Competition and the Readers’ Choice award winner, will be showcased in the Fall 2017 issue of Environments for Aging.
