Atlanta Housing Authority recently celebrated the grand re-opening of Tenth and Juniper, an affordable 149-unit community in Atlanta, for seniors and the non-elderly disabled.

Renovations on the high-rise began in November 2016. During construction, residents were relocated to other affordable housing with the option to return.

Atlanta Housing has leased the land to Columbia Residential which owns and manages the building.

Renovations on the high-rise were accomplished through the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, which allows public agencies to leverage public and private funding to reinvest in existing public housing.
